A Series of Short Videos

-----

Our new video series Inside the Music asks regional musicians this: if you had ten minutes to talk directly with someone in our audience, maybe even a newcomer to jazz, what would you like to tell them that would enrich their listening experience, and give them some insight into what’s happening on stage.  As a jazz musician, you've got a unique perspective from your side of the bandstand about what goes on during a performance. How the mechanics, the energy and even the poetry aligns to bring everything together. What do you hope the audience takes away from listening and watching you perform?
