About
Capital District Jazz Ltd. (CDJ) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz as a vital cultural contribution to New York's Capital Region. Through live performances, educational programs, and our new annual jazz festival, we create meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and students while celebrating America's original art form.
Our mission comes to life through three core initiatives: presenting exceptional live performances that showcase both local talent and renowned artists; providing educational outreach that inspires the next generation of jazz musicians and audiences; and producing our annual jazz festival that brings our community together in celebration of this rich musical heritage. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the generous support of music lovers like you to keep jazz thriving in our region.
